Bayanihan Foundation donates children’s books to Day Care Center


On July 2019, the Bayanihan Foundation donated children’s books to a local day care center in Barangay Paya in Giporlos, Samar.

2019 NEXTGEN participants Camillo Geaga, Richelle Caday, and Jacob Olaguir helped distribute the books to the children. The books will be kept in a library at the day care center for all the nursery and kindergarten students to use.

Many of the donated children’s books were collected by Bayanihan Foundation board member Maria Ferrera, Willard Dix, Karen Foley, Kay Nixon of Juvenile Protective Association (JPA), among others. A big thanks to the many books donors for their generous book donations. In 2019, the Bayanihan Foundation collected over 1,000 book titles. They will be distributed to elementary schools and day care centers in Giporlos, Samar.
