Since 2009, the Bayanihan Foundation Worldwide has been working to help promote the quality of life in the Philippines and contributing to positive social change. We are dedicated to building strategic and thoughtful partnerships with like-minded organizations in the United States and at home; building broad and diaspora giving; and expanding awareness of the rich culture and history of the Philippine Islands.
The Foundation’s Board established clear priorities for its work in order to focus its activities and deliver more effectively.
For 2019 – 2020, the Bayanihan Foundation focuses on the following priorities:
| Raise up to $50,000 in diaspora philanthropy donations and leverage long-term partnerships in developing holistic health and education development programs and collaborations for the Philippines. |
| Develop 10 partnerships in advocacy forged among governments, organizations, businesses and other stakeholders to push accountability, reduce corruption and increase transparency. |
| Increase capacity building of 1,500 diaspora donors, nongovernmental organizations, community groups, foundations and individuals, improving their knowledge of proper governance and other skills. |
| Expose 10 new Filipino youth leaders and develop a cadre of young Filipino leaders in the diaspora that will continue to be involved to decrease poverty and promote return and circular migration. |
| Ensure continued long-term sustainable growth, decrease poverty rates in the Philippines through a sustainability plan, decrease economic push to migrate and increase the rate of circular migration. |
The Bayanihan Foundation Worldwide is an US registered 501(c)3 public charity. The foundation also earned the GuideStar Exchange Valued Partner Seal of Approval for accountability and transparency.
