At the Bayanihan Foundation Worldwide, we are entering a transformative phase: Bayanihan Foundation 2.0. Over the next several years leading to 2040, we are shifting from traditional fundraising toward self-sustaining social enterprise. Revenue generated from these new ventures will directly fund our longstanding core community and philanthropic initiatives across the United States and the Philippines.

🚀 Planned Social Enterprises (Sustainable Funding Engines)

To ensure operational sustainability, we are launching two related business ventures in Bicol, Philippines, designed to generate income to directly support our charitable mission. The foundation will share details of these two sustainable enterprises soon. Stay tuned!

🌱 Active Legacy Philanthropic Projects

We remain deeply committed to the core community programs established since 2010. Our social enterprise profits will provide dependable, ongoing funding to maintain and expand these projects:

  • The NEXTGEN Program: Reigniting our anchor youth leadership program to connect young Filipino Americans with cultural heritage, civic engagement, and community service.

  • Environmental Restoration: Expanding coastal ecosystem projects through long-term youth development and mangrove planting in Cebu.

  • Clean Water Infrastructure: Sponsoring and installing essential water wells to provide sustainable clean drinking water for local communities in Iligan.

  • Education & Literacy Drives: Donating books, educational resources, and supporting local school libraries in Samar and other underserved regions.

  • Community Philanthropy: Providing ongoing philanthropic assistance to community-led initiatives across both the US and the Philippines.

🏛️ Organizational Growth & Sustainability Plans

  • Philippine Corporate Expansion: Establishing an affiliated Bayanihan Foundation Worldwide legal entity in the Philippines by 2028 to support related business income operations and streamline local charitable giving.

  • Succession Planning: Actively preparing for leadership continuity by identifying and onboarding a new President by 2034, ensuring the core mission—Filipinos abroad helping Filipinos at home—thrives across future generations.
