Since 2010, the Bayanihan Foundation had directed its diaspora philanthropic efforts to Liloan, Cebu for youth environmental education, educational workshops, and the planting of thousands of mangrove seedlings. The Bayanihan Foundation also has supported the displaced workers of Cebu in their fight for economic and social justice. The foundation has leveraged its funding with the generous donations of board member James Castillo and the strong support of the Visayas Mindanao People’s Resource Development Center (VMPRDC).
