Computer Donations Point Giporlos Students to the Future

The Bayanihan Foundation donated used computers to a local high school in Giporlos, Samar Philippines, one of the town’s devasated by typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest typhoons recorded to hit landfall. Unexploded ordnance (UXO) found in Clark and Subic, Philippines continue to endanger children and families that live there. September 16, 2011 marks the 20th year anniversary of the Philippine government’s refusal to renew the US-Philippine military base agreement that set in motion the US withdrawal of troops from the Philippines.
